How do I sign up for a session?

Sessions (75 minutes) may be scheduled through the online scheduler or by emailing carla@flow-flourish.com to request a session outside of the hours posted online.

Do you offer distance sessions?

Yes, all online sessions are currently scheduled as distance sessions.  During a remote session, we will have a call/Skype at the beginning and end of the session.

What is the cost of a 75 minute session?

$100 / session, payable by credit card at the time of online booking.

Are session packages available?

Session packages are available at a discounted rate: 5 sessions for $450 (10% discount).

How often should I come in for a session?

Just as one would not expect to lose 100 pounds after one session with a personal trainer at a gym, old energetic habits are best shifted during multiple sessions and self-care between sessions. The goal of Flow & Flourish is to empower clients with tools so that YOU may continue your shifts at home.  This is a participatory process!

The suggested timeline is 1 session per week for the first 5 weeks, followed by tune-up sessions as needed/desired.

What happens during an energy session?

The techniques utilized and taught to clients during sessions may involve the use of certain postures, movements, holding, tracing, or circling over or above specified areas of the body. Tuning forks and Tibetan singing bowls may be over acupressure points and chakras. Reiki energy may be applied through the simple technique of placing hands over specific areas of the body.  These non-invasive techniques move, balance, enhance, and restore the body’s subtle energies.

“Energy testing” is a way of assessing how the energies are flowing through specific areas of the body and energy field, and help to identify the techniques that will be most beneficial for the client. (Please note that all techniques, including energy testing, may be done “in the field”, not requiring in-person contact.)

Energy sessions impact and harmonize the electromagnetic fields that regulate the body, shifting the subtle energies systems described in other cultures as chakras, meridians, the aura, extraordinary vessels, and Chinese Five Elements theory.

What should I wear during a session?

During sessions, clients remain fully clothed, with the exception of shoes.  Dress comfortably, and plan to lie down or sit comfortably in a chair for the session.
